North Jersey Volleyball Club

To determine the correct age division, please find the Month of Birth in the left column and then the year of birth in the same row. The heading of the column matching the Year of Birth is the correct age bracket.

 *Players who were born on or after September 1, 1990 and a high school student in the twelfth (12th) grade or below during some part of the current academic year.

Disclaimer:  Particpant/Parent/Guardian agrees that he/she is physically able to participate in the sport of volleyball and further agrees that the North Jersey Volleyball Club, LLC and the Nutley Abundant Life Worship Center and/or its agents, members, staff, and the club directors, coach, or other staff shall not be liable in the event of an accident, injury, or damage whatsoever, arising from the participation or presence in or at said acitivty.  Although the North Jersey Volleyball Club, LLC does carry insurance, and medical costs incurred due to the injury of my child which are not covered by insurance will be covered by the player's parent/guardian.  (Currently, the deductible for our insurance policy is $100.)  If I cannot be reached, I hearby grant permission for emergency medical treatment for my child in case of an accident, and further release the above sited groups of any liability in providing such treatment.

Rules for North Jersey Volleyball Club

• Player must be picked up immediately following practice.
• Player must show respect to all players, coaches, staff, and fans from their own team as well as opposing teams.
• Playing time is at the discretion of the coach.
• Players must attend practices regularly, participate in tournaments, attend officiating clinics, and participate in anyother club activities.
• Travel Team - all travel team players in good standing will be allowed to attend tournaments.
• Teams practice once a week. 
• Travel Team - (boys teams- there will be four one-day tournaments during the season on either a Saturday or Sunday - you must arrange your own transportation to tournaments.) (Girls teams- there will be three one-day tournaments and one 2-day tournament during the season on either a Saturday or Sunday - you must arrange your own transportation to tournaments.)
• Players will receive over 50 hours of practice.
• Travel Team - players receive jersey and shorts which they keep at the conclusion of the season.
• Practice Team - players receive an NJVBC t-shirt.
• There will be NO REFUNDS of team fees - agreeing to these rules and making your initial payment is your agreement to make all payments to NJVBC.
• All bills must be paid by the given dates.
• Travel Team Fee: $625. per player - cash payment due at the first practice following tryouts or 3 check payments of $225. (total of $675.) on the previously stated dates.
• Practice Team Fee: $425. per player - cash payment due at the first practice following tryouts or 3 check payments of $160. (total of $480.) on the previously stated dates.

Suspendable Offenses - including, but not limited to the below list

• Displaying an attitude not condusive to the team
• Disrespectful behavior towards others and/or the practice facility and its patrons
• Poor sportsmanship (either physical or verbal)
• Excessive delays in being picked up from practice
• Absence or lateness to practices or tournaments without notifying the coach
• Smoking / Drinking / possession of alcohol / taking - selling - possession of drugs
• Not following coach's instructions
• Being unprepared for practices or tournaments
