Girl's Team Information

No more than 14 athletes will be enrolled on a travel team.

Coaches will be teaching volleyball skills based on the player’s experience level.

Tournaments will be attended by the traveling teams.

All travel players, in good standing with the club, will participate at tournaments.
North Jersey Volleyball Club practices one night a week during the season at the Nutley Abundant Life Worship Center in Nutley, N.J.
The 2008- 2009 girl’s teams consisted of players from Clifton, Fair Lawn, Montclair, Rutherford, Wayne Hills, Wallington, Kent Place, Caldwell, Tenafly, Nutley, River Dell, Mahwah, Cedar Grove, New Milford, MKA, IHA, Holy Angels, Livingston, Paramus Catholic, Bloomfield,
Passaic Valley, PCTI, Hawthorne Christian, Lyndhurst, and many others.
Costs
Fee: Practice and Tournament team $675. per player ($625. if you pay in one payment by the 2nd practice in cash)
Practice Only team $475. per player ($425. if you pay in one payment by the 2nd practice in cash)

If not taking the cash option, 1/3 of the team fee must be paid by Sept. 30, 1/3 by Jan. 31, and the final 1/3 by Feb. 28.
- All players receive over 50 hours of training
- Traveling team will attend five tournaments including GEVA Regionals
- Travel players receive full uniform (jersey and shorts)
- Travel players - all tournament & league fees are paid by the club
- Practice only players receive club t-shirt
- All players invited to team party at conclusion of the season
Time Commitment
- The girl’s club season runs from November through the 1st week of May.
- Players are expected to attend all practices, tournaments, and clinics.
- Our teams practice once a week.
- Tournaments take place on weekends and the team will attend five tournaments this season.
- Many of the tournaments will be between an hour and two hours driving distance.
- We DO NOT provide transportation to and from tournaments.
